Principal's Welcome
I am proud to be a part of the 2025-2026 school year as the principal of this fantastic place, Lincoln Elementary. It is with great honor that I express my gratitude for the opportunity to serve the best elementary staff in the state and the amazing families of Petoskey. The past four years have been amazing, as my two boys, Owen & Beau, as well as I, have had a great opportunity to grow and learn as part of the PRIDE here at Lincoln.
It is my true belief that each one of us is capable of greatness! I have witnessed this play out over my 18 year career in education. I work hard to keep my daily six rules of teaching and learning…

Treat others how they need to be treated - lead with empathy.
Celebrate mistakes.
“This is easy”, is not allowed to be said.

Be an energy giver, not an energy taker!
I am a true believer in the idea of “Carrying the Torch” - I work hard and tirelessly to maintain the success that Lincoln has had over the years. Many great administrators, educators, staff members, and families of the past have established this. I am dedicated to improving the lives of all current students, families, and staff members of Lincoln. It is up to us to uphold the rich history of maintaining high standards for all members of the PRIDE and to ensure an atmosphere that embodies the tenets of the Full Value Agreement. Speak up. Be safe. Work as a team.
